The BLS Organizational Committee would like to thank our generous sponsors for their support of this year’s race.
Racing caps were provided by SwimVacation, a Maine-based company that offers the best swimming vacation on earth for people who love to swim. Registration is now open for two trips to the British Virgin Islands in March.
Vita Coca will be on the beach at the finish line tomorrow, so be sure to sample some of their delicious drinks to help in post-swim recovery. With five essential electrolytes and no fat, cholesterol, or added sugar, Vita Coco Coconut Water is nature’s answer to a tough workout.
Thanks also to the Curley Community Center for hosting us on their iconic L-Street Beach once again this year. The center is a recreational and wellness center offering classes in everything from boxing to gardening in the heart of South Boston. L-Street is the home of the L-Street Brownies and their hugely popular annual polar bear plunge.
Boston Harbor Yacht Club is also graciously offering their facility for our pre-race dinner and launching point tomorrow morning. It’s a perfect location, convenient to the L-Street finish site. The BLS Organizational Committee is very grateful to be able to use this wonderful facility for our orientation meeting and early morning launching logistics.
MetroWestEndurance is supplying integral, volunteer labor and experienced, endurance sports advice. MWE was founded in 2010 with the goal of helping Endurance Athletes achieve levels of performance they had not imagined possible and offers personal coaching, event training plans, and event nutrition counseling.
Many thanks to our sponsors– you are helping keep this historic swim alive!
