2013 Doty Memorial Mile Swim Big Success

On Saturday, June 15th, the second annual James Doty Memorial Mile was swum.  Close to 30 participants came to swim a cold mile.  The air was in the mid 70s, but the salt water of Boston Harbor was still in the low 60s.  Surprisingly, more swimmers opted to go without a wet suit.  There was an exciting finish with Pat Geraghty beating out Nate Dean  by less than a second with a time of 20:51!  Full results can be found here.
